Whatcom This Whey
Thank you to all who attended the fourth annual Whatcom This Whey dairy tour! Stay tuned for our farm’s next open house in the June 2026. The Whatcom This Whey tour highlights Whatcom County’s dairy farms and creameries in a free, open-house style event that is fun for all ages. Stop by Steensma Creamery to meet the cows, learn about rotational grazing, and see a robotic milker in action! Sample Icelandic-style skyr yogurt and take a wagon tour of the wildlife habitat along Bertrand Creek. Make sure to stop by the other farms participating in the tour to see the diverse styles of dairy farming here in Northwest Washington.
Sustainable Connections Farm Tour
The 2025 Sustainable Connections Farm Tour takes place on Saturday, September 13 from 10 AM-4 PM, and features a diversity of local farms who grow and raise your food. We are excited to co-host an open house with our friends at Grace Harbor Farms, where we process Steensma Creamery products. Visit us and other participating farms around the county in this free, family-friendly event! Please note: Only our creamery location is open to the public on this day. Our dairy farm location is not part of the fall tour.
