Whatcom This Whey

The fifth annual Whatcom This Whey tour will take place on June 20, 2026 from 10 am - 4 pm. Whatcom This Whey is a collaborative event hosted by Whatcom Countyโ€™s dairy community. Multiple dairy farms and creameries offer concurrent open houses that are free and fun for all ages.

  • Learn about rotational grazing and organic farming practices

  • See a robotic milker in action

  • Sample Icelandic-style skyr yogurt

  • Purchase skyr, yogurt popsicles, and more

  • Take a wagon ride and walking tour of the wildlife habitat along Bertrand Creek, a salmon-bearing tributary of Nooksack River

Then, make sure to stop by the other farms and creameries participating in the tour to see the diversity of dairy production styles here in Northwest Washington!

Sustainable Connections Farm Tour

We are excited to participate in the Sustainable Connections Farm Tour on September 20, 2026 from 10 am - 4 pm. This annual tour features a diversity of local farms who grow and raise your food. For this event, we co-host a creamery open house with our friends at Grace Harbor Farms, where we process Steensma Creamery products. Stop by to

  • Learn about dairy processing, food safety, and collaboration between small businesses

  • Sample dairy products including our signature Icelandic-style skyr yogurt

  • Purchase a variety of delicious dairy, meat, and skincare items from both businesses
